The number of laps by over 70s has just gone up by 25%.

I have calculated that there were just 8 laps the Manx Telecom Parish Walk course recorded by over 70s before the weekend but there were two more by John Grady and and Gordon Erskine (above).

And I am certain  that John Grady (above) is the first person to make their debut aged over 70 and get around at the first attempt! (photos Karen Kneale & Ben Lambden)
