575 of 2294 finishes by people with single finish
This is how the 2,294 finishes in the Manx Telecom Parish Walk are made up:

Every time that someone enters the event, and finishes it at the first attempt, we are naturally very impressed if they do so in under 19 hours. They ask me: "Is that the best ever?".
In fact there have been loads of great performances such as this. It is one of my biggest challenges to produce such a list particularly as I don't have details of people who walked part of the course prior to 1974. So, for example, my search criteria produce John Cannell as a first time entrant but I have excluded him because he has told me that he first entered in 1962. But those listed below prior to 1974 may be excluded too if anyone can confirm that they had taken part before their first finish.
I am pretty satisfied with the rest.
